GID Construction

A deliberately simple website designed to make a local contractor easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to contact.

  • Client work
  • Responsive UX
  • Content strategy
  • Conversion

01

Overview

Simple is a product requirement.

The client does not need a large marketing platform. He needs a focused presence that explains what he builds, establishes credibility, supports local discovery, and turns interest into a direct conversation.

Role
UX/UI design, content structure, and web development
Client
Independent construction contractor
Platform
Responsive small-business website
Priority
Local visibility and qualified contact

02 / Strategy

Visibility first, then confidence, then contact.

  1. 01

    Be found

A clear service hierarchy gives search engines and local prospects useful context.

  2. 02

    Build trust

Project imagery, concise process content, and honest service details reduce uncertainty.

  3. 03

    Make contact easy

A visible estimate path and focused form prevent the simple site from becoming passive.

03 / Prototypes

Iteration without adding unnecessary complexity.

The Figma file contains several mid-fidelity directions. These two checkpoints show the clearest progression from page structure to a more purposeful, branded interface without presenting every discarded variation.

Low-fidelity GID Construction homepage showing navigation, a service-led hero, project content, trust sections, and contact flow.

Low fidelity

Homepage structure

The first pass establishes page order, readable sections, service visibility, project proof, and a direct route to contact.

Mid-fidelity GID Construction homepage iteration with stronger visual hierarchy, brand direction, service content, project imagery, and calls to action.

Mid fidelity

Selected visual direction

The later pass improves hierarchy, visual rhythm, trust-building imagery, and action clarity while preserving the client's preference for a simple website.
